No, not many artists work in punching bags and stainless steel cable, but that’s exactly what artist Michael Kalish used to make “reALIze” which appeared outside of the Live complex next to the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles last month.

Sadly, it’s run has ended. The installation was taken down last week, but the artist says the piece will travel to various cities in the future. Just make sure you get a good view, square on, where it all comes together.
